I say hello.
We’re gonna start this adventure very soon with five pictures of one of my favourite fashion photographers from the 50’s. He’s italian but worked and lived in the US for a longtime. He used to work for Harper’s Bazaar a lot when the magazine was something else than what it is today. Which is mostly crap in my opinion. And if he worked for Haper’s Bazaar, you could be sure he also worked for Vogue.
For me there’s no doubt he’s a master. I hope you’ll share some of the interest i feel for his photography, the poetry within every woman’s portrait. And even his personnal images around Paris, Rome and whatever other incredible city shows his amazing sensibility.
This is Tom Palumbo (1921 - 2008).
